Sizes, colors and variants
One product with several combinations, each with its own price and stock.

Step by step

Open the product from Catalog and switch to the tab Variants.
This is for when the same thing comes in several versions: sizes, colors, flavors. If each version is genuinely a different product, add them separately instead.

Begin with Step 1 · Add a characteristic.
A characteristic is the kind of difference: "Size", "Color", "Flavor". The options are the values: S, M, L.

Add that characteristic’s options. If you have more than one — size AND color — add the second too.

Look below, in the section Generated variants.
Every combination is built for you: there is nothing to create by hand.

Give each combination its price and stock. If several share a price, leave the default and change only the ones that differ.

The default version — the one using the product’s own price and stock — is chosen on the tab Details.
